Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Muntean Holding AS ("we", "us") handles information in the Pixel Bloom mobile app and on this website (colorbynumberapp.com). The short version: the app works offline, your artwork and photos stay on your device, and we collect as little as possible. The free version of the app shows ads served by Google AdMob, configured for a child-directed audience and never personalised; Pixel Bloom Premium removes them.

1. Information in the app

• Your coloring progress (pictures, streaks, achievements, settings, wallpapers you have won) is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers.
• Imported photos. Photos you choose from your camera or gallery are converted into a color by number board on your device. Neither the photo nor the resulting board is uploaded.
• Anonymous sign-in (Firebase Authentication). If you use the "Invite friends" feature, the app creates an anonymous account (a random identifier — no name, email or phone number) so invite codes can be matched between friends. Invite codes and redemptions are stored in Google Cloud Firestore.
• Purchases (RevenueCat). When you subscribe to Premium or buy the one-time unlock, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google and verified by our partner RevenueCat. We receive an anonymous purchase record — the product, purchase and expiry dates, status and a random app-user identifier — never your name or payment details.
• App analytics (Firebase Analytics). We collect anonymous usage events — for example that a picture was opened or completed, or that the Premium screen was shown — together with a random app-instance identifier, device model, operating system and app version, and an approximate region derived from your IP address. We use this to see which features are used and to fix problems. The advertising features of Analytics (ad storage, ad personalisation, Google Signals) are switched off.
• Advertising (Google AdMob). If you have not purchased Premium, the app shows banner ads while you color and occasional full-screen ads between pictures, served by Google AdMob. We configure the ad SDK for a child-directed audience: every request is flagged as child-directed and under the age of consent, ads are non-personalised and limited to a G (general audiences) content rating, and on Android the app does not use the advertising ID. Where the law requires it, a consent message is shown before any ad loads. To serve, measure and secure ads, Google processes technical data such as IP address, device type and ad interactions under Google's Privacy Policy. Premium removes all ads.
• No cross-app tracking. The app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

2. Information on this website

With your consent (via the cookie banner), we use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — pages viewed, approximate region, device type. If you decline, no analytics are loaded. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser. This website shows no ads.

3. Children

Pixel Bloom is designed to be family friendly and treats every user as part of a child-directed audience for advertising purposes. The app requires no account, has no chat and no user content shared with other players, and collects no personal information from children. Ads shown in the free version are non-personalised and family-safe, and there are no external links aimed at children beyond the app stores and this website. The invite feature uses only anonymous identifiers.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

Muntean Holding AS is based in Norway and complies with the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the limited data associated with your anonymous identifiers at any time. Deleting the app removes all local data; contact us to delete server-side invite records or purchase records.

6. Data retention

Anonymous invite records are retained for as long as they are needed to honor the rewards they unlock. Anonymous purchase records are kept for as long as needed to honor your purchase or subscription. App and website analytics data is retained according to Firebase Analytics default settings (14 months). Advertising data is retained by Google under its own policies.
